Inversions are fun. There is a danger and a clarity in stepping out of the safety of ‘gray’ predictions into black-and-white .. so here’s my take on the future of Software re-skilling to come (with some getting on the train, and others falling off it). I relabeled it GenAI Ware in retrospect .. because it is going to be softer than software (unless we flex our definitions to where Hollywood Writers write software)

I have been encouraging CS depts to be aggressive about introducing ‘Storytelling’ minors (theater, english, pedagogy) to no avail. I think industry needs will assert themselves upon academia with the usual lag (5 years!).
